  • Is it only boilers that you service?

    Bartons of Duke Street engineers are fully qualified to work on boilers, gas fires, water heaters and wall heaters. If your property is ‘off-gas’ it may also be worth noting that we’re qualified to service, maintain and install appliances which run off LPG, oil, and solid fuel (coal and wood). 

  • Do you offer service plans?

    Bartons of Duke Street offer an emergency on-call facility to its customers 365 days per year. Schemes are offered from a routine service or health check right up to a fully comprehensive cover plan which can be spread over 12 monthly instalments.


  • I am a landlord? Do you provide gas safety certificates?

    Yes. To meet your obligation as a landlord our engineer can provide the necessary documentation to verify that the appliance(s) are safe to use - giving you complete piece of mind.

  • My toilets started to leak. Can you help?

    All Bartons of Duke Street engineers have completed a modern apprenticeship (or equivalent) in heating and plumbing; which is a basic requirement for joining our team. As a consequence they are more than happy to tend to your domestic plumbing problems, from leaking taps to showers that have stopped working and toilet and tanks that are overflowing and more. 

  • I have just had my boiler installed Bartons of Duke Street, will you look after it in the future?

    Yes. Every customer that has work carried out by Bartons of Duke Street is contacted 12 months after the install and invited to take advantage of one of our service plans. If you’re a new customer why not call one of our team today for more details.

    All our engineers are house trained and will treat your home like it was their own. Armed with dustsheets, hoovers and plastic runners, we will keep the fuss down to an absolute minimum. Plus we’ll even take the old bathroom suite and rubbish away for you.

  • How do I proceed to the next stage and book a fitting date?

    Our surveyor will provide you with a quotation for the proposed work. If you are happy to proceed simply pay a deposit of 20% and our team will take care of the rest.

    One of our ‘in house’ Installation teams will visit your home and install your fire and surround without further ado.



  • Will there be any mess?

    All our engineers are ‘house trained’. All armed with dustsheets, hoovers and plastic runners, we will keep the fuss down to an absolute minimum….We’ll even take any old fire and surround, and rubbish away for you!

  • Is that it?
